Growth & Innovation

Content

Working with the Government?s Growth & Innovation Advisory Board (GIAB) under the wing of the Ministry for Research Science and Technology, Network PR has been a key part of this important Government initiative.

OUR ROLE

A key element of this project was a range of qualitative and quantitative research on the attitudes of New Zealanders to growth, undertaken by the GIAB. Network PR worked alongside the Board to advise on the most effective use of this information, including assessing the research findings and preparing a strategic communication plan to assist the development and promotion of a growth and innovation culture in New Zealand.

The research results were complex and the communication challenge considerable. Network PR has managed a multifaceted process bringing together a range of ideas, facilitating discussion amongst GIAB members and other interested parties, preparing discussion papers and distilling all this down into a forward looking communication strategy.

RESULTS

The GIAB project demonstrates how Network PR works with clients to gather and use research appropriately as an effective PR tool. The project involved extensive consultation and consensus building. It also demonstrates how PR techniques can be used to demystify complex research to make it more accessible to the public and, therefore, influential with audiences.
